2025 Garden Rules
By agreeing to the use of a plot at the Sycamore Community Gardens,
I accept the following rules and regulations:

Garden is open from sunrise to sunset April 1 to November 1

Stay within your plot area; leave 3 ft between neighbors to your sides, and 5 ft from neighbors above and below.

Leave plot marker in place. Do not move.

Trash goes ONLY in the bins by the gazebo. Keep garden and area around it free of weeds and trash.

Dump weeds in the designated areas. NO TRASH in these areas.

Do not take anything from another plot.

Use only organic fertilizers and pest control methods- Ask the garden manager if not sure

Return the gardening tools to the shed when finished with them.

No alcohol or tobacco products on the garden site, including chewing tobacco.

Supervise children at all times. Children must not wander into other garden plots or road.

Water is available from the tanks – push the lever. Also there are hand pumps on concrete wells.

Notify the garden manager if you see a rule being broken.

Park only in the lot near the boat ramp. Do not drive down to the garden.

Contact the manager if you can no longer work your garden plot.

Do not cut living trees. This is against the law in this area.
If you break these rules you may not be allowed to continue to garden with us.
Bring your garden plot card with you to the garden EVERY time you come.

That way you can prove that you are working in your own plot.

You cannot get plants without your card.

You will need both your card and a picture ID to re-register for next summer.
Plant give-away: May 31, 3-5pm at the Pavilion in parking area
